About Our Foodbank originated from the church’s desire to serve it’s local community. St Andrew’s Community Network began life as a family support network in 2004. Identifying a need in the local community for help with food, the Network first opened a Foodbank in 2012. Continuing to respond to need across the north of Liverpool, we have grown to the point where we now have 11 distribution centres and feed 7000+ local people a year.
What We've Done so Far:
The support has been overwhelming, between the work we have done with our partner vendors and donations from the public, we have been able to truly make a difference in the community.
Since we began, the money donated has gone to providing over 50 meals to the homeless. We are doing more and more everyday, and none of it could be done without your help.
Donations for the season:
Good Liverpool is looking to make this a special Christmas for all. Everyone deserves a Good end to the year and it is very simple to achieve that. As long as we work together and remember the less fortunate, we can make sure that everyone's belly is full this festive season.
